He was retired from Alcoa, Inc after 25 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a signalman 3rd class on the LST930. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Minnie Rolen, and his sister, Erma Dee Stewart. Survivors: Wife of 49 years: Golee Rolen Daughter and Son-in-law: Janet and Van Lidvall, of Alcoa Son: Ed Rolen, of Maryville Grandchildren: Carly and Kristin Lidvall Anna and Edward Rolen Sister: Anna Lee Rolen Brother: Gene Rolen Funeral service 7 PM Monday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Ball, Rev. Melvin Carr and Rev. Ellis Adams officiating. Interment 11AM Tuesday in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
