Cholley, 68, died early on Tuesday morning in his home, 607-9th street SW, Canton. Mr. Cholley was born in Louisville, but had been a resident of Canton for the past 25 years. He was employed by Garaux Brothers. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic church. Mr. Cholley is survived by his widow, Rose, a son, George H. Cholley; three daughters, Mrs. Lucy Peterman, Mrs. Austin Steimmetz, and Mrs. Ida Brown of Canton; a brother, Peter Cholley, of Louisville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 this (Thursday) morning at St. Peter's Catholic church, Canton, in charge of Rev. A. B. Stuber. Burial in St. Louis cemetery south of Louisville. [Editorial Note: The fact that his widow, Rose, survived him does not correspond with her obituary, which is dated 1918.]
