(9); John J. (7); Paul (5); Mary K. (3); and Lewis P. (1). Everyone in the household was born in Ohio. Both of James' parents, as well as Catherine's father, were born in Ireland. Catherine's mother was born in Ohio. James was a U. S. Post Master. [Editorial Note: According to James' daughter, Ann, he was postmaster in Wakeman from 1914 to 1924.] This census was taken on the 12th day of January, 1920, by William G. Stott.

Mary Catherine Murray, was retired housekeeper Wakeman -- Mary Catherine Murray was a housekeeper at St. Augustine Manor in Cleveland. She retired in 1978. She was born in Wakeman, in Huron County, and lived most of her life in Cleveland, Norwalk and Wakeman. She graduated from Wakeman High School in 1936. Miss Murray, 80, died Friday at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wakeman and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Norwalk. She is survived by a sister, Ann Keith of Wakeman; and brothers, Robert Murray of Fairview Park and Louis Murray of Wakeman. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at St. Mary Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Gerber Smith Funeral Home of Wakeman is handling arrangements.
