Documents Charles Emile Vourron death certificate
- According to the records of the St. Louis Church, Charles Emile Vouron was baptized 4/11/1862. His parents were Charles and Alvira Rebillot Vouron. He's found in the 1880 census in Nimishellen, Stark County, OH: VOURRON, Charles (45); wife Alzise (40); children Emile (18); Emma (9); Louis (2); Otille (2/12). Charles and Alzire were born in France. All the children were born in Ohio. Charles was a tanner. In the 1900 Census (spelled Ameal Vourron), he is found as a boarder in the home of Caroline Stoefkew (b. Nov. 1865; age 34; born in Germany). She was the head of household, although she was listed as married 17 years. Children were: Henry (b. Oct. 1883); William (Oct. 1885); Laura (Dec. 1887); Ameal (male; Aug. 1889); Mabel (May 1891). This might be the Carry we have listed as his wife? "Ameal" Vourron was shown as age 38 and single. His occupation was given as Fireman, but the second word is hard to read. It looks like it might be Locomotive? (Notice one of Caroline's sons is named "Ameal?") We have a copy of the 1920 census index card which was completed: Vourron, Emeal E.
