- Obituary published in the Louisville Herald on 4/1/1999 (p. 6): THOMAS R. GRISEZ, age 88, of North Canton, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Sunday, March 28, 1999 in St. Joseph Care Center following an extended illness. Tom was born November 29, 1910 in Louisville, the son of the late Paul and Rose (Rebillot) Grisez. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Louisville Council #2530. Tom was a former custodian at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, retiring in 1977 following 13 years of service. Tom leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Catherine (Becherer) whom he married February 19, 1936; a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Richard Miller of North Canton; a brother, Ted Grisez of Warren, PA; five grandchildren, James and Timothy Garner, Michael Miller, Michelle Weichert and Melissa Perduk; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Garner; four sisters, Helen Michel, Margaret Sluss, Sister Mary Jude HHM and Catherine Woodin and two brothres, John and Richard Grisez. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday, March 31, at 12:00 p.m. in Little Flower Catholic church with Rev. Fr. Kevin L. Fete officiating. Burial was in St. Louis Cemetery. Friends called Tuesday evening at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.
