    • Obituary published in the Louisville Herald on 9/17/1992 (p. 6): RICHARD FRANCIS GRISEZ, age 76, of Louisville passed away Friday evening, Sept. 11, at the Joseph T. Nist Geriatric Nursing Center following a lengthy illness. Born February 25, 1916 in Louisville to the late Paul John and Rose (Rebillot) Grisez, he had worked for the Fraternal Order of Eagles Louisville Aerie No. 2374 and at Superior Sheet Steel where he was employed as a weigh master. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Louisville Aerie No. 2374, American legion Post #548, VFW Post #7490 and the Lake PNA Sportsman's Association. Mr. Grisez was a World war II veteran. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Helen Michel of Louisville and Mrs. Catherine Woodin of Westwood, NJ; two brothers; Thomas of North Caton and Theodore J. of Warren, PA; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Grisez was preceded in death by two sisters, Sister Mary Jude H.M., and Margaret Sluss; and a brother, John Paul. A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Friends called Monday evening at the Paquelet Funeral Home of Louisville. F.O.E. services and American Legion services were also conducted.
