- Obituary published in the Louisville Herald on 5/26/1994 (p. 12): HELEN A. MICHEL, age 92, of Louisville passed away early Sunday morning, May 22 in St. Joseph Hospice following a lengthy illness. She was born April 25, 1902 in Louisville, daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Rebillot) Grisez. She was a retired postal worked, a member of St. Louis Church, St. Ann's Altar and Rosary Society and the Columbus Women's Club. Mrs. Michel is survived by a daughter and son-in-law; Mrs. Michael (Rosemary) Sivy of North Canton; a sister, Catherine Grisez Woodin of Westwood, NJ; two brothers, Tom of Canton and Theodore J. of Warren, PA; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis A. Michel; a son, James; two sisters, Margaret Grisez Sluss and Sister Mary Jude Grisez; and two brothers, Richard and John Paul. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Louis Church with Rev. Fr. Raymond Thomas and Rev. Fr. Ronald Klingler as concelebrants. Burial was in the church cemetery. Friends called Tuesday evening at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Louisville.
