    • Obituary published in the Louisville Herald on 4/25/1991 (p. 6): SISTER MARY JUDE HM (GRISEZ), former Josephine Grisez, age 86, died Sunday, April 21, at Villa Maria, PA. Born July 1, 1904, in Louisville, he daughter of Paul and Rose Rebillot Grisez, she joined the Sisters of The Humility of Mary from St. Louis Parish August 14, 1924 and professed her vows on Feb. 11, 1927. She earned her BA in 1931 from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and her MA in 1945 from Villa Nova University, Villa Nova, PA. Sister Jude's teaching career began at Villa Maria High School where she served for 15 years; 6 of these as principal. Other assignments included Lourds Academy in Cleveland, St. John and Central Catholic High in Canton where she spent the last 36 years and retired to Villa Maria Community Center in 1986, where she dedicated herself to prayer and services where ever needed. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Helen Michel of Louisville and Mrs. Catherine Wooden of Westwood, NJ; three brothers, Thomas Grisez of North Canton, Ted of Warren, PA and Dick Grisez of Louisville. Mass of Christian burial was held at Villa Maria Chapel on Tuesday, April 23. McVean and Hughes of Youngstown was in charge of arrangements.
