  Obituary published in the Louisville Herald on 3/7/1946 (pg. 1): P. J. GRISEZ, RETIRED RAILWAY CLERK, DIES 3rd District Chief Clerk Began Career In 1898 Paul J. Grisez, 71, a retired railway mail official associated with the postal railway service 46 years, died Sunday morning at his home at 218 W. Gorgas st, Louisville. Mr. Grisez entered the postal service in 1898, retiring two years ago. He had been chief clerk for the third district with offices in Crestline and was one of the best known railway clerks in this part of the country. Mr. Grisez was born near Maximo and spent the greater part of his life in that vicinity. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and Holy Name Society and was a charter member of Louisville Council, Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Rose Grisez; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Michel of Louisville, Mrs. Catherine Woodin of the home, Mrs. Margaret Sluss of Alliance and Sister Mary Jude of Lourdes Academny, Cleveland; four sons, Thomas of Louisville, Richard and Ted of the home and John Grisez of Cincinnati; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Salerin of Alliance and Mrs. Linus Tournoux of Canton; three brothers, William of Cleveland, Frank of Louisville and Eugene Grisez of Alliance, and six grandchildren. A solemn requiem High Mass was sung Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Church. Burial in St. Louis Cemetery.
