Obituary: Thomas E. McMahon, 93, rural Bellevue, father of Mrs. Edgar Eberly, Fremont, died Friday at 10:10 p.m. at his home, where he lived with a son, George. He had been ill several months. Mr. McMahon had been born at the present residence, Aug. 12, 1879, the son of Patrick and Catherine (McCartney) McMahon. His wife, Amanda Smith, died July 1965. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Holy Name Society. Mr. McMahon was a retired farmer. Survivors are his son, the Fremont daughter, Margaret; daughters, Mrs. George (Mary) Moore and Mrs. Ernest (Kay) Widner, both Bellevue; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Ball, Bellevue. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, four sisters and two brothers. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Foos Funeral Home where Wake Services will be Sunday at 8 p.m. Services will be Monday from the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Robert Lamantia officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
