- Obituary published in the Canton Repository on 1/21/2005: Rosella M. Monter, age 88, of Louisville, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005, in Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born March 12, 1916 in Humboldt, Sask. Canada to the late Anthony and Margaret (Barthel) Jaeb. A resident of the Louisville area most of her life. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and was employed for a short time prior to her marriage at the Timken Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters: Louisa Rauw, Clara Jaeb, Angela Muglich, Hilda Dahlheimer, Anna Paumier and Helen Mathie and brothers: Vincent Jaeb, Clem Jaeb, Reinhold Jaeb, Edward Jaeb and an infant brother. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Marion Monter, of the residence, whom she married June 15, 1940; children: Rose Marie Monter of Louisville, Robert Lee (Judy) Monter of Canton, Marilyn Ann Haren of Louisville, Susan Jane (Bob) Liebermann of Massillon; grandchildren: Linnea (David) Conely of Montgomery, AL, Gina (Erik) Cooper of Powell, OH, Melissa Monter of North Royalton, OH, Amanda Monter of Canton, OH, Andrew Liebermann of Massillon, Angela Liebermann of Massillon; great-grandchildren, Veronica Michelle Conely, Harrison James Conely both of Montgomery, AL; and a sister, Sophie Goeb of Buffalo, MN. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Kenneth Miller as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Louis Parish Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in her memory to St. Louis Catholic Church.
