  From Sevier County, Tennessee, History & Biographies: Our subject, the youngest child of four sons and four daughters, received a limited education and remained on the farm until twenty-five years of age. After a year in Knoxville as a merchant, he engaged in the same occupation in Sevierville in 1865. Thirteen years later, he became a farmer on his present estate, which embraces 405 acres, with some of the best improvements of any farm in the county. He has been a liberal, public-spirited man and a contributor to the erection of every church in the county. He's found in the 1850 census in Eastern Subdivision 12, Sevier County, TN: RAMBO, Francis (52); Rebecca (30); Mary M.
